LI XIAOMEI

Prof. Li Xiaomei was born in Hangzhou City of Zhejiang in November 1938. Graduated from the Department of Mathematics, Wannan University of Anhui (Normal University of Anhui)in 1960. She worked in the Department as a mathematics teacher between 1960-1974. She became a postgraduate student of Department of Mathematics of Fudan University between1961-1964. After she worked in the Institute of West North Nuclear Technology as a assistant researcher between 1974-1981. She worked in the Department of Computer, Notional University of Defense Technology as a lecturer, a associate professor, a professer and a doctor teacher between 1981-1996. Since 1996 she has worked in  the Institute of Command and Technology of Equipment as a professor and National University of Defense Technology as a parttime professor, doctor teacher.
Prof. Li dedicates herself to the study of Parallel Algorthms and Development of Application Software. She plays a leading role on Parallel Algorthms in China. She joined the projects of “Nuclear Test of Vertical Underground”,“YH-1 Massive Computer”,“YH Disposal System of Seismal Data”,“YH-2 Parallel Massive Compute” and “YH Numerical Weather Forecast System of Middle Stage”. She won 1st Class Prize of National Science and Technology Progress in 1995, 1st Class Prize of Army Science and Technology Progress in 2001, 2nd Class Prize of Army Science and Technology Progress in 2003. She has won thirteen awards including 1st Class Prize of Commission Science and Technology Progress and 2nd Class Prize of Commission Science and Technology Progress. She won 1st Class Prize of Fund of Guanghua in 1992 and Prize of Science and Technology Achievement of Army in 2002.
Prof. Li has published more than 160 scientific papers and 8 books. She has trained 32 masters, 20 doctors and 2 postdoctors.
