GAO CONGJIE

Abstract

Gao congjie male, bron in Nov. 1942 in Jimo, Shandong Province. He graduated form Shandong Oceanographic Institute in 1965. He had held the posts of chief engineer, deputy director, the Development Center of Water Treatment Technology, State Oceanic Administration. Now he is research fellow, Chairman of Chinese Seawater Desalination & Water Reuse Society, the member of editorial committee of the Journal of International Desalination Association.  He has engaged in membrane separation research and development for more than 30 years, directly accomplished nearly 10 key research programs form state, province and administration in the aspects of hollow fiber reverse osmosis membrane, charged membranes, composite membranes, alloy membranes, ultrafiltration and nanofiltration membranes, related modules and technological Processes, won once the top grade prize of national science & technology progress and more prizes from province & administration.
1967-1969 took part in national joint research program of seawater desalination;
1970-1982 study on tubular & hollow fiber membranes & modules;
1982-1984 as a visiting scholar, to University of Waterloo, Canada;
1985-1995 finished two national key programs, two national natural foundation programs, one program of national foundation for visiting scholar, ete.
1996-present. Has directed two national key programs & one of key national foundation program.
Published more than 60 papers, co-edited & co-translated one book each. As deputy editor for Chinese edition of “Handbook of Membrane Separation Technology”.
